Simply Sunday Challenge: Sew Fabulous

I had a lot of fun making this card for the challenge "Sew Fabulous".  I hand stitched all the red threading and used a template heart puzzle to cut out two pieces of fabric I had stamped with craft ink.  I really loved how it turned out!!  I have decided to give this to my Husband, the two puzzle pieces represent us in so many ways and not in the most cliche way either.  My Husband and I both came from previous "bad" marriages and it left us feeling broken and well like the missing piece to a puzzle. When we met we realized that we were just trying to fit into the wrong puzzles.  Hugs and kisses for my puzzle piece who is out doing the Army thing in a field.... in the rain... making me proud... but not looking forward to him tracking in the mud with his boots lol!!

Thank you Kathy, It took me a while to get it stitched, half an hour I believe, but I was/am very pleased with the outcome!

Mrs. Andrew, I did stitch the words ;0) I hand wrote the words first then used a piercing tool to give me an idea where I want to start and end. Thank you very much for your kind words on it!
Kate~ Thank you, I do intend to keep him, his muddy boots, they stay in the garage lol.
I am just so thrilled to have found such an inspirational blog that inspires me creatively and emotionally.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog this morning so that I could come and find ya and your adorable card!! :) I also love YOUR story that goes with YOUR project!! :)

As I was perusing your blog, I saw that you are in Fort Bragg... I think that's where my son's best friend is now, I'll have to ask him. :) What a small world that would be!! :)

Kudos to you for hand-stitching -- I was struggling with the faux stitching!! LOL...

I'm your newest follower, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with next!! :)
