How exciting is this?! This is my first Link Up Love Party with Mrs. Andrew, Getting Cricky with K Andrew , and I look forward to meeting and finding new blogs that share my love for cards/paper crafting and in the military lifestyle. This is a fantastic way to not only meet and find new bloggers, but to get inspiration. Not just for cards but blogging and in life as well, especially through Mrs. Andrew, she is just phenomenal with her blogs, so full of love from deep in her heart and soul. You can get access to her blog by clicking the link above or click on her blinkie in my left panel, grab it and share her as well!!
Now as far as a favorite project that I've got in my blog, hmmm, I'm new to this so I don't have a lot of projects and they're all my favorites lol. If I was to pick one right now that I can share with you I would have to say it would be my first entry into a challenge:
Papers Pads and Pictures, I didn't win, but still absolutely love Ms. Cindy's blogs and challenges. On this card I used DCWV The Old World Mat Stack (textured) as the card base then used paper from a pack I bought from Big Lots, I can't remember the brand and I apparently threw away the wrappings to go back and reference it. The light blue was scrap paper I used, the ribbon is Stampin Up's Grosgrain Bashful Blue, the acetate is also Stampin Up's Clearly Thanks printed window sheets. To cut the ovals I used my cricut expression and the center function with Opposites Attract cartridge. The green brads, I purchased from AC Moore's, I just don't remember the brand, I buy them then dump by color into my container to keep them assorted and nicely put away lol. The sentiment is by Stampin Up ~ Easter Beauty. I inked the edges with Stampin Ups Baroque Burgundy..... I think lol...
I certainly hope that you join me in this Link Up Love Party by clicking here: Link Up Love Party with K. Andrew! I've got to get going as today is my oldest son's field day at school, his first one so got to take LOTS of pictures to add to his album!! Have a great day everyone!
