Challenge #73 Anything Goes

Wow, so this card took me awhile.  I've never put so much detail or layers onto a card before and so wanted to give it a try with a sketch I had seen for a challenge that I unfortunately could not participate in as I do not have any of the products to use on the sketch ;9(  I got the sketch from BasicGrey challenge.  If any of you have any BG products you should definitely go and take on this sketch.  I just couldn't pass up the sketch for this card.  It was so great to be able to make a masculine card too for my Husband.
So with that being said a sweet friend, Amy from Love to Crop, that I had made via blogging posted on her blog a challenge on Paper Playtime.  It reads that we can enter as often as we'd like, but entries must be new creations not posted prior to beginning of this challenge.
If you're not familiar with the Paper Playtime Challenges yet, (which I was not hehe), please be sure to pop on over there and check them out...  There is always a challenge on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month!! On the FIRST Monday it's always a DIE CUT CHALLENGE (you can use any die cutting machine for this one!!)...  And on the THIRD Monday it's always a SENTIMENTS CHALLENGE (ya just gotta have a sentiment for this one!!)...  If we're LUCKY enough to have a FIFTH Monday in the month, then we have an ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE -- This challenge lasts for ONE WEEK ONLY and features a Blog Hop JUST FOR FUN!!

So I've put this lovely together and hope that my hard work shows through each paper piecing, stamped and colored detail.

I used Stampin Up Ink Chocolate Chip for stamping images and distressing edges.
Papers are from a pad I purchased four years ago and had since lost the cover.  So I'm not sure the brand I want to say DCWV.    The stamps are all Unity with the exception of the woodsy background is Hero Arts, I used some from The Kit of the Month, Stamp of the Week and Itty Bitty.

(Back Ground)Tree Trunks: Hero Arts
(Large mushroom and Hi there sentiment) Unity Stamp Itty Bitty: Owl on a Mushroom
(Small tall mushrooms) Unity Stamp: Naturally You
(small mushrooms on bottom, fox, foxy sentiment) Unity Stamp April Kit of the Month Follow Your Own
(Scallop stamp on To my FOXY guy.) Ippity: Sweet Thoughts of Spring
If you want to purchase this set be sure to click on my Name Annette Marlow then you can add this lovely into your shopping cart and continue to shop Unity Stamp Co.

Yes, it looks like that card would take a bit of time! It's great. I'm sure your husband will cherish it (at least as much as a guy can, right!?)

Anyway, I'm stopping by because you mentioned a tutorial...so many did, I created one:
